About Jabiru

Jabiru Area Council proudly serves our community of 1,100 residents in the West Arnhem region of NT.

Established in 1982, our council manages services across this unique tropical monsoon landscape, home to Kakadu National Park and rich Bininj/Mungguy people heritage. We work to balance development with preservation of our natural environment.
