Bin Collection
Regular kerbside collection services for Jabiru households:
- General Waste: Weekly collection
- Recycling: Fortnightly collection
- Green Waste: Seasonal collections for Kakadu National Park vegetation
Place bins out by 6:00am on collection day.
Recycling Guidelines
What can be recycled in Jabiru:
- Paper and cardboard
- Plastic bottles and containers (codes 1-7)
- Glass bottles and jars
- Aluminium and steel cans
Please rinse containers and remove lids before recycling.
Special Waste
Disposal options for special waste items:
- E-waste: Quarterly collection events
- Chemicals: By appointment only
- Building materials: Local landfill facility
- Batteries: Drop-off at council offices
